SappyFest

Going to New Brunswick this weekend for the fourth SappyFest. Should be a good time.

Lucy and I are leaving tomorrow morning. I'm working tonight, then going to grandma's to look after the dog. Still haven't packed any clothes. I need a fucking rain coat and rubber boots. Ahhh!

Nightdriving

I am a little bit late for the first New Music Sunday. My apologizes.

Bike For Three! is a collaboration between Buck 65 (who I love) and some foreign girl called Greetings From Tuskan. The album is More Heart Than Brains and is one that you should check out.

Happy new music!

Still working on this redesign I think.
I'm not completely satisfied just yet.

Started a bicycle series! I didn't shoot as many as I had hoped while in Montréal, but the ones I did get were so grood. I will have to do some more shooting for this around Halifax.

Loves this one because it says "Jesus loves you."

I really enjoy the bottom left corner and it's darkness.

Picked up a new desk from my grandmother today. It's so much nicer than the last one, I'm quite impressed. iMac looks so nice on top of a dark wood. Ha ha

It is almost time for New Music Sunday, keep an eye out on Sunday for some new jams!

It's All Gonna Break

Home from Montreal/Ottawa the other day. Had the best time of my life. I think I came home a little depressed, Halifax just doesn't quite compare to the big city life!

Too much happened to write it all down. Major events were:

1. Beirut. Zach Condon is amazing. 'Nuff said..
2. LaRonde. Although it felt like a waste of money, totally worth it.
3. Bixi-clé. Bike ride with Lucy through Old Montréal at 1 am.

Moving to Québec is going to be the best thing that happens to me. Everyone can come visit me and we'll party all time every time. I will find all the cute cafés and we'll drink tea and coffee a lot.

I will post photos once my film is developed.

Chk Chk Chk

Hello, internet.

Just wanted to give a shout out before I leave the province! Gonna get my slut on in Montreal and Ottawa. What happens in QC and ON, stays in QC and ON.

My financial advisor, Lucy, is likely going to hate me when she finds out what I have purchased. I will give all y'all a hint. It's big, 24" to be exact. It runs applications. It has the internet. I do just about it everything on it. Oh hell, you'll never guess. It's an iMac, silly. So don't any of you get too worked up over this. I'm still the same person I was before! Except maybe now I won't get as frustrated when I'm designing (which means I will do more of it!)

Now all I need is someone to buy me Sims 3, as I have absolutely no cash.

I'm'a broke ass bitch.

I will see all y'all next time. Wish me luck in finding awesome thrifts!!

Down Home Cookin'

Hey there all y'all,

I just wanted to give you some updates about what has been happenin' with me, in my life these past few days. First off, I'd like to give a shout out to my down home gurl, Mallory-Ann, for tellin' all them people at V Fest to keep bein' pure and all. Thanks so much, darlin'.

Now I don't know if all y'all heard, but Virgin Mobile allowed all us country folk to go to their big city music festival for free. Can you imagine? Such a small town girl in the big city listening to hip music and all, what an adventure!
Well, Metric did a stunnin' job up on that 'der stage. If only I didn't have to put up with all the bitchassness comin' from the guys who ain't know nothin' 'bout good music and such.

I'm gonna fill all y'all in on a little secret that Mallory-Ann and I have been workin' on for some time now. We're gonna help Western Mom get her cookin' show up on all y'all's television! I know that she is soooo excited about gettin' her amazin' recipes out in the public so everyone can make 'em.

So I hope all y'all are havin' a great time and I look forward to seeing all y'all next time, ya hear?

(973): Herpes is a lot like Arnold Schwartzenneger. Because it always comes back. Also, because it is usually in some way in control of California.

Le long du large

Hello.

Here is sample of the Montreal mixtape. I want to know what is good and what is bad. I'm quite partial to the first six tracks.
Check out Cœur de Pirate; really great relaxing music.

Melissa thinks I am a Quad-Grande, lactose-free, peppermint mocha, with whip.

Something about being allergic to milk but still getting whipped cream because I'm so dumb. Thank you, Melissa.

Made the first payment to my student loan. Goodbye, money.
